Timothy Dunst President and Chief Executive Officer
Timothy Dunst has led Touchstone Behavioral Health since 1983. His vision for the organization is to be the premier provider of positive outcome behavioral health services to youth and their families in the Southwest. Partnering with families and providing evidence-based programs with proven outcomes will accomplish this goal.
Mr. Dunst has been an active member in the adolescent behavioral health community throughout his career. He has served on advisory councils, including the Governor’s Juvenile Justice Advisory Committee, the Joint Legislative Children and Families Re-organization Committee, the Advisory Committee for the Governor’s Office on Children, the Children’s Mental Health Task Force and the Maricopa County Clinical Advisory Committee.
Mr. Dunst received both his Bachelor of Science in Sociology in 1972 and Masters in Social Work in 1974 from Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona. He has held the position of Chief Executive Officer for Touchstone Behavioral Health for the past 20 years. He began his career as a psychiatric technician at the Arizona State Hospital in 1964.

Steve Ginsberg,
Chief Operating Officer
Steve Ginsberg is a native of the Bronx, New York and has lived in Phoenix since 1977. He received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology/Psychology from City College of New York in 1977, a Masters in Counseling from Arizona State University in 1980, and is a Certified Professional Counselor.
He oversees the daily operations and administration of Touchstone Behavioral Health and the Blueprints evidence-based programs (Functional Family Therapy, Treatment Homes, Multisystemic Therapy and Bullying Prevention Program).
Prior to joining Touchstone Behavioral Health in 1996, Mr. Ginsberg was with St Luke’s Behavioral Health Center in Phoenix from 1977-1995; President, AYC Day Hospitals, 1985–1995; Corporate Director of Partial Hospital Services, Century Healthcare Corporation, Inc., 1989–1992.
