Help Support Touchstone's Family Fun Day
Every year in the fall, Touchstone's staff members, families and friends volunteer their time and energy in order to give the community we serve the chance to take part in a stress-free carnival atmosphere at Family Fun Day.
The goal of this event is to create a community outreach day for children and families living in surrounding 'at-hope' zip codes while providing an environment in which they can relax, have fun and set aside their worries for a day. Each year, over 2,500 families participate and enjoy a free day of games, fun in the "snow," food, gifts and prizes without shouldering the burden of any of the costs.
If you have been fortunate enough to attend one of our previous Family Fun Days, you have witnessed the importance of this event, and the true pleasure it brings to the children and families in attendance. A multitude of other collaborating community agencies participate as well to introduce these families to the services that are available to them within their community. If you want to make a difference, this is certainly a great way to do it.
Family Fun Day takes a tremendous amount of planning, time, effort and money. While Touchstone Behavioral Health is responsible for the majority of this, your support is needed! We hope your organization will 'give back' to some of the communities you serve, and to those families that are less fortunate. We would like to ask for a cash donation (we are a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization), or an 'in-kind' donation of prizes or services we may include in the free raffle for families in attendance.
